Copyright's sire Clinton competed in all the major championships under Dirk Demeersman during his show jumping career: the European Championships, the World Championships, and the Athens Olympics, as his crowning achievement. His sire Corrado I was also a successful international show jumper under Franke Sloothaak. Cor de la Bryere and Capitol I are outstanding jumper sires from which Corrado I descends.

Copyright's dam Vote For Me is an elite mare who boasts the Grand Prix jumper Caretino as her sire. Her dam Ram Bam also earned the elite predicate as well as the sport predicate for her performance in Z-level show jumping. Her full sister is the national-level jumper Pourqoui. Both mares are by the keur stallion Zeus, who has clearly distinguished himself as a jumper sire. Copyright's great-granddam Kwando successfully completed the mare test, earning 9s for the jumping sections. Her sire Voltaire adds another proven jumper sire to Copyright's pedigree.
