A stallion with a very good front end, Churchill is by the young sire Uphill, who won both the Dutch ZZ-Light and ZZ-Advanced Championships and is currently competing in the Small Tour. Because of Churchill's great-grandsire Apollonios xx, Uphill boasts a high percentage of Thoroughbred blood. His daughter Amber won Reserve Champion at the National Mare Selection, and his son Briljant advanced to the Champion Selection and subsequently became a KWPN-approved breeding stallion. Churchill's grandsire Goodtimes is known as an all-around stallion. He is also the grandsire of Bristol (s.Jazz), who received KWPN approval last spring. Other renowned Goodtimes offspring include the KWPN stallion and international jumper, Londontimes and Anne van Uytert's dressage mount, I.P.S. Lucky Times. Churchill's great-grandsire Burggraaf preferent has produced both good jumpers and dressage horses.
