Chagall boasts a lineage rich with keur and preferent stallions. His sire Jazz needs no introduction, for his performance and the performance of his offspring have made him world-famous - consider Parzival, Premier, Nartan, Ojay, Next One, and many others. Chagall’s dam Talanda W.H. is by Coby van Baalen's Welt Hit II, another Grand Prix dressage stallion and the son of the dressage giant Weltmeyer. Among Welt Hit II's well-known offspring are Riondine and Sagacious. Chagall's granddam Ilanda is also the dam of the ZZ-light dressage horse Ralanda (s.Jackson). The Amor daughter Walanda produced two Small Tour dressage horses by Naturel and Elmshorn. Chagall shows abundant fine breeding and a good forehand.
