Cairos' grandsire For Pleasure and his rider Marcus Ehning were an established combination on the international show scene for many years, boasting two Olympic team gold medals as well as outstanding performances in World Championships, European Championships, and World Cup competitions. With the foundation stallion Nimmerdor in his pedigree, it is no wonder that Cairos' sire Vaillant scored a 9 for scope and an 8.5 for jumping talent in his performance test and won the 2008 Stallion Competition. Cairos' dam's sire Hors La Loi II, like For Pleasure, was a formidable show jumping competitor for many years under Rodrigo Pessoa and Hugo Simon. Cairos' dam-line includes the keur stallions Zeoliet, a descendent of the legendary G.Ramiro Z, and Rigoletto. Cairos is a bay stallion with good jumper conformation.
