Crescendo is by Up to Date, whose first crop of foals produced a National Foal Champion. This year, two Up to Date daughters from the same crop will participate in the National Mare Inspection. For form and scope, Up to Date scored a 9 and received a good foal report. Crescendo's grandsire Voltaire has left his stamp on Dutch jumper breeding by producing more than 70 international show jumping offspring. Syranta is also the mother of Winstone (s.Silverstone), the winner of the 2007 VION-Cup.
