The Netherlands has a long tradition of foal auctions. The KWPN has designated several foal auctions for affiliation with its name. These KWPN-supported foal auctions are distinguished by their strict selection of quality foals and bloodlines.
A selection committee with expertise in sporthorses and breeding will be present at all the foal auctions. Several committees will select foals on designated days. The auctions will offer foals only from the best sport and breeding lines and those with correct conformation and excellent movement, a formula that has been proven multiple times.
