WC: Young Jumpers

Every September, the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses are held in Lanaken, Belgium, where talented combinations vie for victory. The championships are open to horses ages five through seven, which compete in their respective age divisions. Organized by the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH), the championships are also a competition between the various studbooks. The Netherlands is represented by nine KWPN horses in each age division. These horses include the top jumpers from the Isah Cup competition (the KNHS/KWPN championships for young jumpers), which takes place in August at the KWPN Horse Days event.
