The owners of three stallions that were not accepted into the studbook after the performance test brought their stallion to the re-keuring. The re-keuring committee received verbal reports on these stallions from the stallion committee, the training leader and the coordinator as well as the test riders. The re-keuring committee made their decision on the basis of all available information.

The four-year old Unesco (Karandasj x Caretino x Grannus) was accepted into the studbook. The reasons were as follows:

The progress the stallion made during the test.

The great dam line and her excellent dam report.

The back/loin formation improved during the test.

Unesco remains a little tight and straight in the topline while jumping and he should open the hindquarter better. However, the more the stallion jumps the looser he gets and the better the hindquarter opens.

The expectation that the stallion shall develop positively.



Vonkenstein, (Ferro x Havidoff) was not accepted. The re-keuring committee is of the opinion that his moderate willingness to work and to make an effort will stand in his way.


Vazall, (Contender x Lavaletto) was not convincing enough in his test to warrant acceptance.
