Catalog number 847, Chandini H.B, emerged the harness horse championship winner. The Wodka HBC son (out of Landini ster pref by Fortissimo) was bred by B.H. Buter and J. Heynen, both of Nieuw Schoonebeek. Chandini was the audience and judging panel favorite. Judging chairman Henk Rootveld: "Chandini is so handsome. He gets "bigger" in harness, uses his front legs really well, and shows lots of bend and power in his hind legs - a very complete harness horse. Second place was for catalog number 821, Clemens, a Tendens son out of the famous elite mare Viva Jerina, bred by Dini Markhorst. HBC Stables own both stallions. Coming in third was number 814, Cavanerno (Saffraan out of Vannerna ster by Patijn), bred by S. Wobbes of Roden and registered to M.H.H. Ritsma of Wijnjewoude and L. Wijkmans of Elshout.

The Stallion Selection Committee chose six harness horses for the performance test: four three-year-olds, one four-year-old, and one five-year-old.
