Looking for a future champion? The Prinsjesdag National Foal Auction, which has sold many future champions, shared in the joy of Dutch Young Rider champion, Denise Nekeman. Last Sunday, her nine-year-old horse Boston STH (Johnson x Quattro, breeder: J.W. Temmink of Vorden), which she purchased through the Prinsjesdag National Foal Auction, danced through the ring in Ermelo and bested his competition with a score of 76.70%.

This year, the selection committee for the auction has found new potential dressage champions, including two half-brothers to Boston STH. On Sunday, his sire Glock’s Johnson TN won the silver medal at the Dutch Championships for seniors, with a score of 82.13% in the Freestyle, securing a spot on the team for the European Championships under Hans Peter Minderhoud. Last year, the impressive Jazz son helped capture the team gold at the World Equestrian Games in Caen.
