Isah Cup: 97 Horses Clear in First Leg
The KWPN Championships for jumpers kicked off yesterday with the first leg of the Isah Cup for five-year-olds. Of the horses entered, 97 kept a clean slate and, as a result, advanced with just one point to the second leg, which takes place on Wednesday.
More than 200 combinations competed in the first leg of the Isah Cup for five-year-old jumpers. Among them, 97 finished the course without faults, positioning themselves well for the second leg of the competition, which begins on Wednesday at 08:00 hours. The qualified horses include the KWPN-approved stallions For The Moment (Mr.Blue out of Domina III s.Don Juan, breeder: Eric van der Vleuten of Someren) under Patrick van der Schans; First Verdi (Verdi out of Votti Lottie ster prok s.Fuego du Prelet, breeders: André Weernink and Petra Waller-Diemont of Neede) under Tim van den Oetelaar; Fire (Vleut out of Britt s.Namelus R, breeder: Kees de Vries of Midwolde) with Rob Heijligers; Farfan M (Cantos out of Nikita ster pref prest s.Lux, breeder: J.C. Mailly of Boyl) with Bart Bles; Floris TN (Quality Time out of Arisinaa elite IBOP-jump s.Vancouver, breeder: H. Breukink of Vorden) with Zoï Snels; Flying Dream (Zapatero VDL out of Windoctro Ryal K keur IBOP-jump s.Indoctro, breeder: J. Kazemier of Oldekerk) with Manon Hees; Forsyth (Carambole out of Tyraja J keur s.Voltaire, breeder: A. de Jong of Chaam) under Willem Greve; and Flauwekul (Padinus out of Issogo s.Zapateado, breeder: J.
