Florian wins Stallion Competition with Albert Zoer
In the intermediate rankings of the Blom Stallion Competition 1.20m class, the top horses were very close. Isah Cup-winner Florian was just two points ahead of number two, Floris TN. But with Albert Zoer, Florian came to a full circle: he started the competition in Ermelo with a victory and he just won the last competition round during the KWPN Stallion Show in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Hereby securing the overall-title!
Cheered on by the audience, the cooperative Zirocco Blue VDL-son took off fast in the jump-off. Zoer riding a jump-off is a class of his own. For one moment he did not seem to make a short turn and Florian eagerly looked at the wrong jump, but expert Zoer corrected it just in time. With by far the fastest time (39.90) and a clear round he could line up as number one. Also the number two in the intermediate rankings – the in 2015 approved Floris TN (s.Quality Time) and Zoï Snels – maintained this position in both today’s test and the overall rankings. With daring turns and a bit of luck after lightly touching the oxer in the double combination, also this combination set a clear round in 43.32. Bart Bles and the quick Cantos-son Farfan M also went all out and did not have to note any faults, but could not beat the time of his predecessors (43.58).
