Uzzo wins Small Tour, third place for Valdez
The Lancet-son President’s Majestic Uzzo has won the Small Tour in Delft. With his new rider Charlotte Kruiniger, the former top horse of Patrick van der Meer scored 71.12%. Ingrid Gerritsen and the KWPN-stallion Valdez placed third, they scored 68.82%.
Subsequently, a final took place, including the two best pairs per class to compete against each other. Uzzo (Lancet out of Orlandaise stb prest by Indoctro, bred by A.L.J. Schonewille from Pijnacker) did not re-enter the arena, but Patrick van der Meer and Sir Fashion scored 73.94% in the Grand Prix test and hereby outbested himself. Because also his second horse, Westrade’s Chapeau (Lord Loxley out of Tosca ster by Jazz, bred by E.T. ten Bosch from Driel) gave a good performance. With 73.50% at the Inter I level he placed second. Valdez (Houston out of Oase keur by Jazz, breeder A.B. van der Wal from Boijl) received 71.31% and positioned fifth.
