KWPN-approved stallion Alicante HBC successful with Jérôme Guery
As of January 2016 the stallion Alicante is being trained by the Belgian rider Jérôme Guery and they obviously are a great fit. The pair noted two victories at the CSI5* Chantilly.
Jérôme Guery says Alicante is a sensational horse. The week before Alicante was placed in the top rankings in the CSI5* Madrid. In Vejer de la Frontera Alicante set the fastest time in the Small Grand Prix, where a knock-down cost him the victory. Alicante HBC received his show jumper training from Julia Kayser, partner of Marc Houtzager, and the pair was succesfull at international level. The Casall-son was bred by R. Nowee from Oude-Niedorp and was his ability as a jumper horse was graded with a 9 in the KWPN Performance Test. The stallion has been standing at stud at HBC Stables for several years.
