Pavo Cup semi-final 5-year-olds

The top group of the five-year-olds was strong, but two horses were head and shoulders above the rest: Glock's Toto Jr. and Guadeloupe-Beau. The KWPN approved stallion . Glock’s Toto Jr. (s.Totilas out of Desperada, f:Schmidt from Naumburg) and his rider Marieke van der Putten scored 94 points. Not far behind them was the winner of the bronze medal at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses Guadeloupe-Beau (s.Bordeaux out of Beau-Verina elite IBOP-dr, f:P.Rulkens from Biest Houtakker). Results Pavo Cup semi-final 6-year-olds A new class this year: the Pavo Cup for six-year-old dressage talents. With 20 contestants this is clearly the smallest age class of this competition. The audience was still in for a treat: lovely horses and good dressage tests, in which Vivaldi-offspring headed the ranking. Fenix (s.Vivaldi out of Unifee ster s.Houston, f:H. Germs, Midwolde) with Emmelie Scholtens received 87 points, followed by Fantastique (s.Vivaldi out of Bonbon stb s.Florencio, f:P.Zwang, Dordrecht) and in a third place we found  President’s First Apple (s.Vivaldi out of Oogappel sport-dr s.TCN Partout, f:N. van Maaswaal, ‘t Goy) presented by Patrick van der Meer. Coming Thursday the best 15 horses will start in the final.

Isah Cup first round 4-year-olds

After the first round of the Isah Cup for 4-year-olds Hertog II S and Haufóm share the lead. With Bart Bles Hertog II S (Zambesi out of Bijdehandje S II ster sport(spr) s.Burggraaf, breeder Spexgoor Stables, Gaanderen) received an 8.3 for his jumping and 8.5 for the ridability/harmony in the course. Haufóm (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve out of Utopia sport(spr) s.Hamlet, breeder H.J.M. Knops, Oirsbeek) and Tim van den Oetelaar received the same score, but judges Daan Geel and Daan Nanning find the two talents very different. "Hertog II S stood out in his manner of jumping, especially his technique in the hind leg. Haufóm's strongest feature was his elasticity and ability." Zoï Snels steered two KWPN-approved stallions to the third and fourth place: Chapeau TN (Clearway out of Vuttion VA s.Quintero, bred by Manfred von Allwoerden, Seedorf, Germany) and the powerful Hernandez TN (Kannan out of Bea-Leva elite IBOP(spr) sport(spr) s.Numero Uno, bred by Willem Dekker, Benningbroek).
