The always exciting finals of the Isah Cup for the 4-,5-,6- and 7-year-olds had the following winners today: Chapeau TN (s. Clearway) , Global Express (s.Orient Express), Flair (s. Zirocco Blue VDL) and Escapade H (s. Vingino).

Isah Cup 4-year-olds

Zoï Snels was a happy rider this morning, he did not only win the with Chapeau TN, he also claimed the third place with Hernandez TN. The judges Henk van den Broek and international jumping rider Christian Sorensen awarded Chapeau TN (Clearway uit Vuttion Va v. Quintero, fokker Manfred von Allwoerden. Seedorf, Duitsland) with a 9.2 for the jumping abilities and with a 8.2 for the submission/rideability in the course. Hernandez TN (Kannan out of Bea-Leva elite IBOP(spr) sport(spr) s.Numero Uno, breeder Willem Dekker, Benningbroek) was placed third. "This is such a reward at the end of the season. I am proud of both Chapeau TN and Hernandez TN to accomplish this after a busy breeding season," said Zoï Snels enthusiastically. Bart Bles is the vice-champion of the Isah Cup with Hertog II S (Zambesi out of Bijdehandje S II ster sport(spr) s.Burggraaf, breeder Spexgoor Stables, Gaanderen).

Isah Cup 5-year-olds

Lennard de Boer and the KWPN-approved stallion Global Express (Orient Express HDC out of Dame Ricard s.Laudanum xx, bred by Haras de la Gisloterie, Basse Normandy, France). were the convincing winners of the Isah Cup for five-year-old horses in Ermelo. With only seven points over three days, the Orient Express-offspring of VDL Stud topped the rankings. Rob Heijligers and Garbrant R.T. (Carrera VDL out of Nibalia keur prest s.Nimmerdor, bred by B.L van der Wijk, Boelenslaan) were second in the final rankings of the Isah Cup, followed by Nicole Botma and Girocco-D (Zirocco Blue VDL out of Cindoctro-D EPTM(spr) s.Indoctro, breeder K. Duursma, Schoonebeek).

Isah Cup 6-year-olds

Ruben Romp steered the scopey mare Flair (Zirocco Blue VDL out of Brandy ster s.Indoctro, breeder A.H.J.M. Kerstens, Etten Leur) to the victory in the Isah Cup for 6-year-olds. Ruben Romp: "I started riding Flair when she was four years old. At the time I owned her together with Rinus Blom, my employer Eric Berkhof has purchased his half so we hope and expect a great future for this horse. Last year's winner Albert Zoer and the KWPN-approved Florian (Zirocco Blue VDL out of Beyoncé ster sport(spr) s.Cardento, bred by P.W. Pijnacker & T.F. Pijnacker-Dam, Augsbuurt) were well on their way to the title, but knocked down the pole of the last obstacle. This resulted in a second overall position. Third in the final rankings is Feestje B. (Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of Vera Linn B s.Kojak, breeder Maatschap G. & G.F. Brinkman, Zutphen), ridden by Björn Egberink. 

Isah Cup 7-year-olds

Brilliant victory for Willem Greve and Escapade H (Vingino out of Valesca ster pref prok s.Democraat, breeder A. Hendriksen, Bennekom) in the Isah Cup final for 7-year-olds. The grey jumped with a lot of power and scope to a double clear round today and this meant the victory as the leaders Lennard de Boer and Edgar M (Arezzo VDL out of Aramee O.A. ster s.Marlon, bred by E. Meijer, Den Ham & M. Meyer, Den Ham) made two expensive mistakes in the jump-off. Luc Steeghs and Everest (Carambole out of Zarina Stb-ext pref prok s.Indoctro, bred by Henstra & Henstra, Drogeham) placed third.
