KWPN Championships: It's A Girl (s.Etoulon) National Champion
After already winning the CK Friesland, the gorgeous Etoulon-mare It's A Girl GR (out of Purple G keur sport-spr s.Indoctro, bred by T.Griffioen) was crowned national champion of the three-year-old mares at the KWPN Championships. The mare, owned by VDL Stud "has got it all" according to chairman of the judges Cor Loeffen. The champion of Limburg was not far behind, the Don Diablo HX-offspring Irmette Balia PJ (out of Elite Balia PJ ster s.Ustinov, bred by Peter Jasper, Mareille Hoenjet-Jaspers and Toon Jaspers from Panningen/Leende) of Stal Hendrix was placed second. "A very appealing mare that convinced us with her good technique and reflexes in jumping." The best jumper was the Arezzo VDL-daughter Ialba VDL (out of Ealba VDL ster v.Zavall VDL) owned and bred by VDL Stud. "If this championships was purely focused on free jumping, this mare would have triumphed. Her jumping was astonishing in every aspect, reflexes, technique and ability. In order to place higher in the rankings she would have needed a more long-lined model."
Larusa H champion of jumper foals There was another victory for an Etoulon x Indoctro-offspring: Larusa H (bred by A.J. Hazenberg uit Opende) became national champion of the jumper foals. As a consequence, Etoulon provided the champion of this prestigious class for the fourth time in a row.
