The KWPN stallion collection has just been expanded by ten interesting stallions in the jumper breeding direction. The group is also promising with respect to quality, as eight of the stallions scored more than 80 points.

Nine three-year-olds and one five-year-old may now begin breeding under the KWPN flag. The most points were awarded to the three-year-old Cassini Gold son Indian Gold (out of S.Zarah 11 stb pref by Germus R, breeder: J.J. van Dijk of Ruinerwold), registered to Herman Seiger and Cees van den Oetelaar. With 8.5's for carriage & balance, the canter, form and talent, in addition to 9’s for rideability and willingness, the stallion posted a total score of 84.5 points. The five-year-old Gomez TN (Zambesi out of Cilanta elite EPTM-jump by Verdi, breeders: H.J.H. Bonenkamp of Dalfsen and Team Nijhof) received a nice total score of 83 points, thanks to very consistent individual scores. The gray stallion made significant progress over the course of his 21-day test.

Good Progress

“We're very pleased with how the stallions look and their progress over the past weeks. Most of the stallions we approved have good reflexes, are quick and jump in a functional manner. Those are important traits for the sport. It's also positive that they're by interesting young sires and proven sires, and that they represent good dam-lines,” remarked Cor Loeffen, Chairman of the Stallion Selection Committee.

Complete Jumpers

With 82.5 points each, the following three talented stallions were their own best advertising: Iniesta TN (Starpower out of Wennie stb by Padinus, r/p: the Flamma family of Geesteren); It’s a Dream (Toulon out of Dirola elite IBOP-jump by Indoctro, breeder: T.
