Day three of the first round viewing featured offspring by the stallions Charmeur, Desperado, Dream Boy and El Capone. Multiple good sons by each of the stallions were adbyced to the second round viewing.

Today, 64 stallions were presented in the ring, 18 of which were adbyced to the next round. Percentage-wise it was not the biggest crop this week, but the average quality of the selected stallions is good. “We had to search a bit today, but we're pleased that we were able to select good sons by several stallions for the second round viewing. When you see all the horses together soon in 's-Hertogenbosch, we'll have a very nice group,” explained jury chairman Bert Rutten.

Good Quality

The Stallion Selection Committee invited six Charmeur sons, five Desperado sons and two Dream Boy sons to 's-Hertogenbosch. In addition, four good sons from El Capone's first year at stud were selected for the second round viewing. “We strictly selected for suspension, suppleness, carriage and balance, and good movement. The offering of Charmeurs was large today, and we hope we picked out the best ones. We were also able to select good sons by the other stallions, so although the number isn't particularly large, we're qout ofe content with today,” said Rutten.
