The Stallion Selection Committee Dressage has recognized three successful dressage stallions, Cennin, Vitalis and Blue Hors Zack. This means that they have the same status as KWPN-approved stallions, their offspring will from now on get a foalbook (vb) paper instead of a reg. A registration.

Blue Hors Zack was accepted for performance testing and became the Champion of the KWPN Stallion Show as a three year-old. Hij was the third Champion Stallion in a row that was sired by keur-stallion Rousseau. His dam Orona is a ster preferent prestatie daughter of Jazz out of Karona ster by Belisar. The breeder is B. Wilschut from Bosschenhoofd. The stallion was sold to Blue Horse Stud in the KWPN Select Sale and got approved by the Danish Studbook. The now 13-year-old stallion really puts his mark on dressage horse breeding. In Denmark, but also many other European countries, under which The Netherlands, he is used extensively by breeders. Blue Horse Zack has several approved sons of which the two times World Champion Young Horses Sezuan is the most well-known. Blue Horse Zack is ridden at Grand Prix level by Daniel Bachmann Anderssen. The stallion meets the radiographic and respiratory requirements of the KWPN. As a three-year-old he measured 1.71m.

Vitalis is a ten-year-old son of the keur-stallion Vivaldi out of the elite preferent sport (dr) mare Tolivia by D-Day out of Nalivia (ster) by Argus. The stallion is bred by A. de Crom from Weert and W. Verbakel from Heusden and is registered with Paul Schockemöhle from Muhlen, Germany. Vitalis is very succesful under Isabel Freese in the Small Tour. An also in breeding he makes his mark. Best known is the Champion five-year-olds at the World Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo, Victoria Secret (out of a daughter by Fidermark I). Also, the Champion of the last Westfalian stallion grading was a son of Vitalis. Vitalis meets the radiographic en respiratory requirements of the KWPN. The breeding value sport for Vitalis is 159% (54%). As a four-year-old he measured 1.72m.

Cennin is also a ten-year-old son of the keur-stallion Vivaldi. His dam is the elite sport(dr) mare Vitana V by Donnerhall out of Latana V ster preferent by Hemmingway. De stallion is bred by J.E.J. Cuppen from Someren who is still the registered party together with Nico Witte from Schijndel/ Cennin was accepted for performance testing as a three year-old. During the last years, he was trained and produced by Madeleine Witte-Vrees and is a member of the Olympic Quad. This past summer, Cennin was the reserve for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He won the 5* Grand Prix in Mallorca, and was highly placed at the World Cup competitions in Stuttgart and Salzburg. The breeding value of Cennin is 177 (48%). His genomic value is 103. Cennin meets the radiographic and respiratory requirements of the KWPN. As a three-year-old Cennin measured 1.71m.
