Do you want to know which Harness Horse stallion can win the prestigious Oregon Trophy? Come and watch at the KWPN Stallion Show 's-Hertogenbosch, it will be a super spectacle!

On Saturday, February 4th, the last day of the KWPN Stallion Show in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, it is time that the Harness Horses enter the arena. Not only the young stallions for their second round viewing, but also the approved stallions that will compete for the prestigious Oregon Trophy. An enjoyable show with the best Harness Horse Stallions for sure! The quality of the entered stallions promises an exciting competition. Six stallions have entered the showdown. The youngest stallion competing is the only four-year-old Bocellie-son Icellie, ridden by Harm-Jan Veenstra. He showed himself impressively at the stallion grading in Ermelo, early January.  Henk Hammers is always a certain participant. He will show the five-year-old Heliotroop VDM (s.Colonist) and will try his best to win this year’s contest. The popular Eebert, ridden by Robbie van Dijk, has lots of fans. The experienced stallion has won the title in 2015 and is now back to try to win again. Let’s see if he can beat last year’s winner, the Vulcano-son Delviro HBC ridden by Harry van Middelaar who will certainly try to get the public on the benches. Mark de Groot and the elegant Dylano (v.Plain’s Liberator) already had high placings in the Oregon trophy several times, but never got the win. Will he be able to succeed this year? The last one in the battle will be the zealous Ditisem (s.Roy M) driven by Albert Lueks. Six contestant that on paper all make a change. Your encouragement can make the difference.

Young talents

As far as they do not compete in the Oregon Trophy the 2016 approved stallions will also make their appearance in the arena. Chair of the Stallion Selection Committee, Johan Hamminga, will introducec you to the new talents and comment on their performance. Last years’ champion Indiana (v.Colonist) will now present himself in harness driven by Klaas Buist. The impressive Image HBC (v.Ditisem) driven by Harry van Middelaar shop their progress in this presentation. Mark de Groot has taken over the reins of Idol and will show the grey for the first time. Two Hackney-stallions got KWPN-approval last year. Shanie Strikeler-son Raffles driven by Jan van den Westen and Plain’s Liberator-son Sir Arie, driven by André Veltkamp will both show off their qualities. Harness Horse classes at the KWPN Stallion Show always guarantee a great spectacle.
