Was it the legendary Totilas who played the main role as sire in the finals at L level, he repeated this piece of excellence in the M class of the Isah stallion comepetition. This time it was his son Governor who won the day competition with 86 points. Marieke van de Putten secured her second competition win with Glock’s Toto Jr.

Marieke was again thrilled with this win: “Toto was quite tense coming in the ring. He has won quite a bit already, but usually that is followed by a prize giving ceremony. He really likes that, but it also makes him tense. Fortunately I could let off some of that tension. Very special how levelheaded he can be. To be honest he is overall a really special horse. I can’t describe how it is to ride him. I never sat on totilas, but I think that he is very much like his father. “ Nine stallions come in four groups in the arena. The stallions were judged by Karin Retera and Arie Hamoen. The favorites for the title were in the last group. There, Governor (s.Totilas) with Adelinde Cornelissen, Guardian S (s.Moorlands Bodyguard) with Kirsten Brouwer and Glock’s Toto Jr. (s.Totilas) with Marieke van der Putten competed against each other in a direct battle.

Karin: “We had three absolute top-horses in the arena. You can say something about every horse, but that is only about details, nothing major. they are all great.“ “Toto showed an excellent test tonight with Marieke. He was just tense enough, but we could still give him 8,5’s for all components, only for the harmony we gave an 8. The contact should be just a bit more constant. But again, we are only talking about details. " Second place “Guardian is a powerful stallion and moves with self-carriage and a nice front. In the contact he could stay a bit lighter, and we would have loved a bit more relaxation in the top-line. For his phenomenal walk, powerful with lots of groundcover, we rewarded him with an 8,5. For the trot, because of the remark on the use of the back, an 8.  In the competition Guardian got in second. Karin also praised Governor. “He went really well today, with suspension and lots of relaxation. He shows lots of balance. Maybe a bit more lenght in front would benefit his use of the back. He has a clear walk with lots of groundcover. His trot shows good suspension and stayed light and connected, a 9. The same score was awarded to the canter, that is nicely uphill with good transitions.” With this beautiful marks Governor won the day price. In the competition he finished third.
