With another 21 stallions added today that were accepted for performance testing, the total amount of dressage stallions came to 38. Seven stallions went into the championship ring with the starring role for the convincing champion Jameson RS2 (s.Blue Hors Zack).

For all dressage enthusiasts and lovers of quality horses in general, today was a very enjoyable day at the packed Brabanthallen. The dressage championship was a wonderful highlight of the atmospheric KWPN Stallion Show. The seven most complete stallions were invited for the championship ring to compete against each other. The very convincing Jameson RS2 (Blue Hors Zack out of Atilinda M keur pref IBOP dres sport-dr by Negro, breeder Stal 104 BV in Wijdewormer) registered with RS2 Dressage center Horst BV from Groesbeek secured the title. "Jameson RS2 has a fantastic canter, a great capacity to extend and collect and lots of self-carriage and balance in movement," Stallion Selection Committee Chair Bert Rutten praised the champion.

In second place finshed the strong mover Jironn L (Charmeur out of Durodine ster PROK EPTM-dr by Rubin Royal) from breeder Jan Lamers. The powerhouse had a lot of fans in the stands and showed a abundant self-carriage in movement. The long-lined Jewel was in third place. Jewel (Ferdinand from Darenta elite IBOP-dres sport-dres of Santano) is bred by Stud Farm De Hoeve VOF from Breugel. Again, a stallion that impressed with his strong hind leg use and beautiful expression.

Good collection

In places four to seven were lined up the with lots of suppleness moving Apache son Jambeau (from Normiek elite pref sport dres d-oc by Hitchcock) breeder A. van Erp from Heesch, the well-developed and strong moving Jureno (Negro from Dear Murona elite EPTM dres sport-dres by Johnson, breeder JJM van de Broek from Hilvarenbeek), the De Niro-son Just Wimphof (from Rastede elite IBOP dres sports dres by Riccione) breeder Carla Rienks Kramer and the very appealing, uphill Ferdeaux son Jackpot (from Diatina elite IBOP dr Metall) bred by M.A. van de Goor from Herpen. Blood distribution In total 38 stallions are invited for the performance test. "We have selected very clearly on hind leg use. And also in the context of blood distribution we have been able to invite a lot of very interesting stallions for the performance test. We look forward to it! ", said Bert Rutten.
