Madeleine Witte-Vrees and the KWPN recognized stallion Cennin took third place at the World Cup qualifier in Neumunster. The son of Vivaldi danced to a score of 77,76%. Patrick van der Meer and Zippo finished in fifth.

In the Grand Prix Cennin and Madeleine Witte-Vrees were really successful. There, they were the runners up behind Isabel Werth and Don Johnson. In the Freestyle they had to give in one place. Cennin was a bit tense and made some minor mistakes what got them in third, behind Werth and Langehanenberg. “Both days, the feeling was really good”, said Madeleine afterwards. “But it was quite exciting in Neumunster. It was completely sold out and the enthusiastic crowd was clapping when I entered the arena. The arena is so small though, that it is not even possible to ride around. That’s why we had some small mistakes due to tension.” Cennin (out of Vitana V elite sport-dres by Donnerhall, breeder Cuppen family from Someren) started cantering in the passage and made a mistake in a pirouette. In the extended canter he made some unwanted changes. “That he still got a score like this promises a lot for the future!” Difficult transitions The difficult last line, where Cennin goes from collected canter to piaffe, then extends and goes back into piaffe again, was flawless. “Transitions are not difficult for Cennin. He just needs to become stronger, than he can score high on every single movement.” The pair is in sixth place at the moment in the European standings, so a place in the finals in Omaha seems almost certain.   Zippo takes revanche Rousseau-son Zippo made a giant leap in the standings. After a very disappointing Grand Prix, he now finished in fifth place under Dutch rider Patrick van der Meer. Irish rider Judy Reynolds and Vancouver K (s.Jazz) had to give in a few places in the Freestyle. They were tenth with 73.27%.   Complete results freestyle Neumünster
