On the recommendation of the Stallion Selection Committee Dressage, the Grand Prix stallion Blue Hors Don Olymbrio L is recognized for KWPN breeding.
Blue Hors Don Olymbrio L is a son of the preferent stallion Jazz out of Olymbria, a keur preferent daughter of Ferro. Granddam Kilbria is an elite preferent mare by Sultan. Her dam, Ezabria is a keur-mare and full sister to Grand Prix horse Barbria that was very successful with Imke Schellekens at international Grand Prix.
As a three year old, breeder Jan Lamers from Oss showed him in the stallion selection. He was accepted for performance testing. Almost straight after that he was sold tot he Danish Stud Blue Horse. After his move he is approved by the Danish Studbook. At this moment, Blue Horse Don Olymbrio L is successful under Daniel Bachmann-Andersen in the Grand Prix.
The stallion meets the radiographic and respiratory requirements of the KWPN. The genomic value for osteochondrosis is 98 with a 51% reliability. The stallion is 9 years old now, and was measured at 1.69m as a three-year-old. His breeding value for sport is 183 with 54% reliability.
