H&M Christian K (s.Namelus R) second in GP Lummen
The Swedish rider Peder Fredricson made a super debut at 5*-level with the ten-year-old Namelus R-son H&M Christian K. the KWPN gelding stayed double clear and got second in the Lummen Grand Prix.
H&M Christian K (Namelus out of Sirnanda stb prest by Calvados, breeder G.W. Klerks from Elshout) was produced in Sweden and made his debut at 1.60m level last year with rider Daniel Svensson. That resulted in placings in the GP of Wilków and Drammen. Since the beginning of this year, the gelding, that shows lots of quality, is ridden by top-rider Peder Fredricson. The Swedish rider has had more success on KWPN horses, like his WEG-horse H&M Sibon (s.Sibon W).
Only four pairs managed to stay clear in the first round. Out of the two pairs that also stayed clear in the Jump-off, Steve Guerdat and the Dulf van den Bisschop-daughter Hannah was the quickest. For Peder Fredricson a cheque of 40.000 euro was lying ready to take home.
Not a coincidence
From the same dam as H&M Christian K comes also the international 1.35m-horse Wirnanda (s.Indoctro). She is ridden by Swedish rider Jannie Canovill. Interesting as well is that her dam Sirnanda is half-sister to the mare Cirnanda (s.Douglas), who was the National Champion Loose Jumping in Ermelo as a three-year-old. Besides that, she is also half-sister to the nine-year-old 1.50m jumper Donanda (again by Douglas) who is ridden by John Perez and the 1.40m-qualified Enanda (s.Nabab de Rêve). One can see, the good results of H&M Christian K are obviously not a coincidence.
