Striking third place for Berlin-son Ace in Caopexpan
After a good result in the Nations Cup, Ace made name again in the Grand Prix of the CSIO4* Coapexpan. Ridden by Alison Robitaille, the Berlin-son stayed clear and got third.
The American rider Alison Robitaille has found her way with the Berlin-son Ace (uit Bella ster sport-spr prest van Irco Polo, fokker P.H.M. de Mol uit Oss) that was produced by Stephanie van den Brink. In the Nations Cup they were already able to stay clear, which made the American team finish in second place. In the Grand Prix (1.55m) Ace stayed again far from the poles. He was quick, but couldn’t match the quickest time that was set by Juan Manuel Luzardo with Stan (s.Stakkato) and also Jaime Azcarraga was a tad quicker with Anton (s.Marome NW) who was produced and bred by Gert-Jan Bruggink.
1.50m-win for Wupp
A day earlier, Alberto Sanchez-Cozar took the win in the 1.50m class with KWPN bred Wupp sport-spr (Colino out of Granata sport-spr by Grosso Z), who is bred by Leon Thijssen. They were the only ones to set a time under 40 seconds. In the Grand Prix, the pair had to settle for tenth, just ahead of Jaime Azcarraga and Matador (Indoctro out of Rimora keur sport-spr prest by Corland, breeder E. ’t Hooft from Nieuweroord), who was the only rider with four faults in the jump-off, that counted eleven riders.
