KWPN Stallion Don Diablo HX second in Redefin
The nine-year-old KWPN stallion Don Diablo HX (s.Vittorio) did very well in the Championat of the CSI3* Redefin. Ridden by Michel Hendrix he was very quick and managed to secure second place.
In the Championat von Lübzer, a 1.50m-class over two rounds, over 45 horses came at the start. Twelve of them managed to stay clear in the first round, Michel Hendrix was one of them. He rode the nine-year-old KWPN approved stallion Don Diablo HX (Vittorio out of Zolaniki keur sport-spr by Calvados, breeder Stal Hendrix from Kessel) in this major class and proved to be one to watch for by his opponents.
Towards top-level
Ten combination put another clear round in the books in the Siegerrunde and Michel Hendrix did that in a very quick time. Only winner Heiko Schmidt was quicker and took the win with Chap 47 (s.Cellestial). For Michel Hendrix and Don Diablo HX an excellent second place in this Championat. Their list of victories is getting longer very quickly. They won the 2016 VHO-Trofee at the KWPN stallion show and were runners up in this year’s Grand Prix. At international level, the careful chestnut stallion is also able to set some promising results.
"Don Diablo HX nis not very experienced at this level", says Michel hendrix. "But he jumped really good. He went well from the first jump. On the first day I rode him quietly round in the Big Tour, and got a timefault. But that fitted perfectly well in the preperation for the Championat."
