The six dressage stallions participating in the KWPN Stallion Performance test were all very convincing on dressage talent, quality of movement and pedigree. They all got approved with beautiful marks.

The Stallion Selection Committee was very content with the way the performance test progressed. Six very complete stallions could be added to the list of Stallions, five of which with a score of 80 points or higher. “We have approved six very nice stallions that all have good to superb characters and workability. They can also be very interesting for blood-distributiion”, chair Bert Rutten commented.

Two stallion scored really high with 86 points. The striking Just Wimphof (De Niro out of Rastede elite IBOP-dres sport-dres by Riccione) bred by Carla Kramer, E.J. Rienks and Joop van Uytert. This very interesting top talent got nines for rideability and attitude, and talent for dressage. The same amount of points went to Jerveaux (Ferdeaux out of d’Avance de Baian elite IBOP-dres by Jazz, breeder familie Beijer from Boven-Leeuwen) owned by Stal Brinkman and Gerard Korbeld. He stood out with his three very good basic gaits, (all 8,5), suppleness (9) and posture & balance (9). Only one point less was for James Bond (Desperado out of Flora by Fidertanz, breeder F.J.G. Baumler from Berg en Terblijt) owned by Ad Valk and Piet Kuijpers. “Most of the stallions were very consistent over the past 10 weeks, and were able to convince in almost all parts of the test. To select as close as possible to the breeding goal, we also had a look at the talent for the more difficult exercises. Besides that we searched for talent, we were also able to estimate the workability of the stallions. We are very happy with these six stallions.”
