Tonight’s program included the CDI1* Freestyle to music, featuring the best 10 combinations of the yesterday’s Prix St. George. In a predominantly Dutch competitors field, yesterday’s winner, Lynne Maas and her KWPN-mare Electra (Jazz x Ferro), with which she recently was crowned Dutch national champion of the Small Tour, proved to be invincible once again.

Not long after she secured her ticket to the finals for the seven-year-olds – with Fantastique she claimed the second place in the small final earlier this night – she obtained by far the victory in the Freestyle to music (75.850%). Lynne Maas had a big smile on her face: “Superb to win this class today. As a competitor, you cannot watch the other tests so you only know how your own performance went. Electra did fantastic and at the same time I know she has much more potential, that feels so cool. She is still young, but our long-term view is the highest level. The progression she made since last year is incredible. She is an amazing horse and she wants to do so well for me, I only have to steer,” says the rider jokingly. Electra is a mare by Jazz out of So What elite pref sport-dr s.Ferro and bred by R. van Heuvelen from Nijkerk & H.F. Bernoski from Bleiswijk.

Marieke van der Putten steered her Armani-son Emporio MB (out of Mylottie elite prestatie by Houston, bred by M. de Boer from Beilen) to 71.525%, the second place. Chantal Nijpjes completed the Dutch stage with Chezavara (Hexagon Rubiquil out of Varona stb-ext by Obelisk) (71.233%). Last year’s silver medal winner of the 7-year-olds, Fiorucci (s.Florencio) under the Swedish Jenna Hogberg, acquired the second position yesterday but had to settle for the sixth place today (70.208%).
