None of the KWPN’s in the small final for five-year-olds managed to reach the final. Hannelinde GLN was the highest place in ninth place.  

The Dream Boy-daughter managed to stay in front of Don Joë (v.Diego) presented by Charlotte Fry. For the  Apache-son Hero was 12th place the highest reachable today. The class was won by the Danish bred Atterupgaards Botticelli (s.Benetton Dream FRH) who got a score of 9,01 points ridden by Selina Solberg Vittinghus. 

Hannelinde GLN (Dream Boy out of Adessa elite by Sunny Boy, breeder G.A.E.M. van der Linden from Vlierden) got a score of 8,16 punten noteren. “A talent for the future”, the judges said after her test.  “In trot the mare has lots of technique, and a good and active hind leg use. In medium trot we would have liked to see more difference, a 8,5. The walk is clear, but it could show more use of the body. She woulld also show more overtrack that way, a 7,3. In canter we saw good activity and a good hind leg use, 8,5. Hannelinde GLN receives 8,1 for submission and 8,4 for perspective. Total: 8,16.”

Don Joë

Charlotte Fry showed for her employer Van Olst Horses their home-bred Diëgo-son Don Joe (out of Cinderella keur IBOP-dres by Lord Leatherdale) who also finished in the top 10. The NRPS-approved and for KWPN performance testing accepted Don Joe took off in canter in the first trot session, but the mistake did not show in the mark for submission. (8,0). “We see a lot of talent in this horse. Espcecially the use of the hind leg”, the judges said. They gave the perspective an 8,5. “The trot is clear, but the medium trot could be better developed.” In canter the stallion shows lots of possibilities. 8,3 what brings the total to 8,08.
