A special welcome to our foreign visitors
The KWPN Championships are right around the corner and KWPN would love to welcome you to the KWPN Center in Ermelo for this superb event. We offer our foreign visitors two special possibilities to explore KWPN breeding and make the most out of their visit.

Foreign Visitors Course
This summer again, especially for foreign visitors, a three-day course will be organized by the KWPN during the KWPN Championships at the KWPN Center in Ermelo. The course will take place from 17-19 August 2017.
This is a special course where you can learn everything about KWPN horses and the KWPN breeding program. During the course experienced judges and KWPN officials will introduce you to the world of Dutch Breeding. In theoretical sessions you will get an insight on the (scientific) approach of KWPN to breeding. In several workshops you will learn all about the Dutch scoring system by judging the horses right from the KWPN VIP area in the various championships guided by a KWPN judge. That means you don’t have to miss any of the highlights of the event!

This course is an amazing opportunity for breeding enthusiasts and will get you better acquainted with the KWPN selection procedure. Participants will also have personal assistance by a KWPN official for any help needed during their stay in Ermelo. There will be a KWPN inspector/official available for special questions at all times - during the scheduled sessions.

Course Fee is €549,- per person. 

• ​The fee includes all course material, special VIP seating, lunch and drinks all three days.

Guided Tour
A day after the Championships we also invite all our foreign visitors to come with us on the KWPN guided tour. On Sunday August 20th, we visit two international yards. They will give you an insight on breeding, top-horse management, training and all other things you would like to know. The Guided Tour offers our foreign guests a unique Dutch experience.

 

The stables we visit this year are:

• RS2 Dressage:This new establishment focuses on top dressage horses which they train from a young age to Grand Prix. They have been very successful in their first years, having the Champion three-year-old mare in 2016, Iveniz Texel RS2 (s.Negro) and the Champion Stallion at the last KWPN Stallion Show, Jameson RS2 (s.Blue Horse Zack). They will give you an insight on their vision on modern dressage horse breeding, the sport and their training. Welcomed by three international dressage riders, Robin van Lierop, Seth Boschman and Marieke van der Putten, you are assured of an exciting morning, no doubt.
• Stal Keizersberg: will be the second yard to welcome us. Keizersberg stud is another newly established breeding stable, that focuses on breeding and training jumper horses.
