The American top-rider Kent Farrington fully displayed the world-class quality of his 15-year-old Voyeur (s.Tolano van ’t Riethof) by putting the World Cup qualifier in Toronto on his name.

With this win, Farrington showed that it was no coincidence that he is in the lead of the rankings for showjumper riders. For years, the KWPN horse Voyeur (Tolano van ’t Riethof out of Loma elite prest by Goodwill, breeder G.C.J. van Kooten from Voorburg) is one of his best and most successful horses, and with that, also one of the best in the world. At the CSI4*-W Toronto the pair was one size too big for the competition. “Voyeur has been very important for my career”, Farrington said afterwards. “His owners always had a long-term vision for him, and at the time, they brought Voyeur to me expressing the hope that he might become a championship horse. He has never disappointed and has meant a lot for all of us. Tonight he showed again that he is from a very special caliber!”
Six combinations made it to the jump-off. “In the jump-off, it was a major advantage that Voyeur and I know each other so well. I know his strengths and can ride with confidence, because I know what we are capable of. We have a very special partnership and I hope we can win a lot more over the coming times. Voyeur is still top fit!”

Q.Breitling LS fourth in World Cup

If they would not have made a jumping mistake, the time that Beezie Madden and the KWPN-approved stallion Breitling LS (Quintero out of Armonia la Silla by Acord II, breeder La Silla from Nuevo Leon) set would have been good for second place. Now the pair finished fourth in this World Cup Qualifer. Being the fasted with four faults in the first round, Leslie Howard and Donna Speciale sport-spr (Cavalier out of Paris sport-spr by Concorde, breeder G. Houtvast from Schimmert) finished in seventh place.
