116 dressage stallions invited to KWPN Stallion Show
On Saturday, the final day of the first-round viewing for dressage stallions took place. Last but not least, was clearly the most suitable summary for this day as 29 stallions were selected for the KWPN Stallion Show, bringing the total to 116 dressage stallions.
Bert Rutten described the last regular selection day as an “homage to the KWPN-breeders that used young stallions.” He continued: “Offspring of young stallions such as Governor, Gock’s Toto Jr. and Gotcha-Utopia, of which the latter covered significantly fewer mares, left a positive impression on an already positive day. We can undoubtedly conclude an evident progress and that is what you hope for in breeding, that you develop further through the use of young stallions.”
On Saturday the 16th of December, more stallions can be added to this group. This day is reserved for stallions that could not attend one of the regular first round viewing days for a valid reason.
