Jumper stallions
Cor Loeffen: “This ‘after inspection’ was certainly worthwhile, we were able to select a few stallions with an interesting pedigree, a correct conformation and that showed an above average to good performance. Young stallions such as Global Express, Grand Slam VDL and Glenfiddich VDL, but also established sires such as Cicero Z and Cornet Obolensky had sons invited to the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch.

Dressage stallions

The total number of selected dressage stallions has come up to 124: in the additional inspection, the stallion selection committee gave the green light to eight more stallions. Amongst them sons of young sires Ferguson and Expression, who both saw multiple of their offspring invited to Den Bosch during the regular inspections, and various stallions from profound German bloodlines. “It is positive that we were able to add various stallions with foreign blood to the collection for Den Bosch. An interesting aspect in the context of variation in the bloodlines,” says chairman Bert Rutten. “The number of stallions showed in the first round viewing was high and we have invited 124 of them to the next round. We are looking forward to continue the selection in Den Bosch.”
