In the standings they already shared the second place. Behind Indian Rock, who was not competing in Zuidbroek. And also in this third leg of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion competition, they strongly matched:  In Style (s.Eye Catcher) and Imposantos (s.Wynton) shared the win in the L Class.

With a beautiful harmonious test, In Style (Eye Catcher out of Sissy by Lorentin I, b/reg.  Joop van Uytert) ridden by Renate van Vliet received 85 points, receiving solely 8,5’s. One group later, Imposantos (Wynton out of Zarina elite IBOP-dres by Krack C, breeder Willy Wijnen) ridden by Bart Veeze, got the same, winning, total of points. That made it an ex aequo win for the two talented movers, of which the first completed a true Joop van Uytert-party since the stallion owner from Heerewaarden was also the part-owner of the numbers 1 (Total U.S.) and 3 (Hermès) in the M class, as well as the number three in the L class, Fürst Jazz. “In Style lets himself being ridden very well and moves uphill from nature. His walk is active with a lot of technique and in canter he can easily collect and extent”, judge Monique Peutz said about the son of Eye Catcher. “He shared the first place with Imposantos, who lived up to his name. He walks with good rhythm and suspension. For his trot we could even give him a 9, due to his great technique, cadence and posture. In canter he showed lots of suppleness and great rideability, just like In Style.”

This smile will last a day

For Renate van Vliet is was a result she had dreamed of. “During the test I sometimes forget to smile because I am so concentrated, but the rest of the day, this smile will not come off my face. In Style only has plus-points, both in the way he lets himself being handled as in riding. He is a true dream-horse. And it is extra-special that Joop bred him himself. During the competition, we are progressing every show, and I treally hope we can continue that towards the final. The past period, I take lessons from Edward Gal with him. I learn a lot there. I got these lessons for my birthday and they are really paying out.  With the other horses, I train with Diederik van Silfhout and that is great too. In Style is a very fast learner and he doesn’t have to do much of an effort. Besides that he is a very nice horse to handle, so it is a true pleasure to ride him, every time I get on!

With only one point less, finished Iconic B (Bon Bravour out of Niniek STV keur pref prest sport-dres by Jazz, breeder Stal De Beukenvallei) ridden by  Joyce Lenaerts, who showed a good test and true talent for the more difficult movements.
