Attention dressage enthusiasts: the Friday night of the KWPN Stallion Show features a full programme. The VHO Trophy will be a clash of the titans and Diederik van Silfhout and Isabel Freese will give clinics.

The Friday is opened 08.00 by the second round viewing of the Gelder stallions, followed by eight groups of dressage stallions. In the afternoon, the in 2017 approved dressage stallions will be presented, as well as the new predicate stallions.

Clinic Isabel Freese and Bordeaux

Friday night the sports competitiveness flares up in the finals of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion competitions. Coached by Morten Thomsen, the Norwegian dressage rider Isabel Freese gives a clinic with her Grand Prix stallion Bordeaux. Later that night, the presentation of the G-year stallions starts. Seven top talents, all born in 2011, will make their appearance. Amongst them is Governor, the silver medal winner of the six-year-olds at the 2017 World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses.

Up-and-coming Grand Prix talent Expression

Adjacent, we will see the winners of the 2017 VHO Trophy: Diederik van Silfhout and Expression. They marched to the victory last year and made their successful debute in the Intermediare II this week. This year, Diederik presents the up-and-coming Grand Prix talent in a clinic together with his father and trainer Alex van Silfhout.

Clash of the titans

The Freestyle to Music for the VHO Trophy has been renewed this year. The test is musically accompanied by specialist Joost Peters. Furthermore, the audience decides as well. Judge along via the Spectator Judging App. Who will follow in the footsteps of Expression and take home the title this year? The field of contestants has been published and forecasts a titanic battle! Desperado, Everdale and Four Legends KS are a few of the names that are in the race!
