At the Australian Young Horse Championships the Johnson-son Iresias L got the title Champion of Champions.

Iresias L is bred by H. Lamers of Schaik. Sire is the international top-horse and keur-stallion Johnson, dam is the elite EPTM mare Puresia, a daughter of the preferent stallion Ferro.

The 5-year old stallion, KWPN-bred Iresias L (Johnson/Ferro), ridden by Gina Montgomery and owned by Sarah Hanslow, not only won his age group but was also crowned Young Dressage Horse Champion of Champions 2018 on Sunday afternoon.

The popular bay was a crowd favourite and managed to win the prestigious title back-to back — a great achievement that has only been reached by two other horses in the 20-year history of the event (Donner Carina and Shiraz Black).
