Various stallion owners and sports stables seized the opportunity during the Young Jumping Foal Sale, in which 11 foals were up for sale. In between the Blom Cup-finals for the six- and four-year-olds, the auction took place in the main arena. All foals descended from young stallions and mares that performed at 1.30m level or higher. It proved to be a successful concept as all foals got a new owner and realised a fine average price of almost 6,500 euro. The Impressive VDL-colt Nimo V (out of Doldina V elite sport-spr PROK by Numero Uno) yielded the highest price of 10,000 euro and was purchased by VDL Stud. With 9,000 euro No No (It’s A Dream out of Charavola ster IBOP-spr sport-spr PROK by Ahorn) made his breeder happy. Via a bid through telephone, the appealing Indian Gold-filly Nobility Fee (out of Wonderfee elite IBOP-spr sport-spr PROK by Pacific) fell into Belgian hands for 8,500 euro. In addition, two foals were sold to China.
