The KWPN-approved stallion Rhodium is no longer with us. The Ferro son had been stabled at Anita Rostner's facility Myrsjö Gård in Sweden, where he was found deceased in the pasture. The cause of his death is still unknown.

The 21-year-old Rhodium began his training as a dressage horse with Hans Peter Minderhoud and in 2005 finished sixth in the final of the World Championship for six-year-old dressage horses. Afterwards, Diederik van Silfhout took over the stallion's reins and started him in the Small Tour. In 2013, Rhodium spent a brief period under rider Rachell Fokker. Her mother Rieneke Fokker leased him to a party in Scotland in 2014. Last year, Rhodium returned to the Netherlands, before being sent to his final home in Sweden in December 2018.

With more than 1,000 KWPN-registered offspring, Rhodium leaves behind a legacy as a breeding stallion. He produced two KWPN-approved sons: Washington (ds.Jetset-D) and Capri Sonne Jr. (ds.San Remo). Through Capri Sonne Jr., Rhodium's second generation of offspring boasts an approved son: Kaygo (ds.Westpoint). Other Rhodium offspring include the Grand Prix horses Azzurro (ds.Krack C) and Cupido (ds.San Remo).
