The stallion selection committee jumping has nominated the Grand Prix-stallions Casallo Z and Qlassic Bois Margot for recognition. Meanwhile, the General Board has formalised this nomination. 

Casallo Z

The fifteen-year-old Cassallo Z, a son of the Grand Prix-stallion Casall ASK, proved under Piegiorgio Bucci to be strong competition on the highest level. His resume includes victories in the Grand Prix of Estoril, Poznan, Hickstead, Outdoor Gelderland and Monte Carlo. This combination participated in multiple Nation Cup competitions and it won the 2015 Nations Cup with the Italian team. Katinka III is the dam of Casallo Z, she is in turn a daughter of Carthago. The stallion that competed in the Olympic Games of Atlanta and Sydney with Jos Lansink. A half-sister of Katinka III, Calandra (s.Calido I), jumps at 1.60m level. This damline also produced the international show jumpers Artist, Cheetano, Contino 58, Asgaard and M-Calido. 

The genome breeding index is 100 with a reliability of 44%. The stallion is 15 years old and has a height of 1.67m. 

 

Qlassic Bois Margot

For years, the French stallion Qlassic Bois Margot (s.L’Arc De Triomphe) was the top horse of Simon Delestre. Ridden by Delestre, the stallion won the silver team medal at the World Equestrian Games of Caen and the Grand Prix of Bordeaux. Decibelle Du Roc is the dam of Qlassic Bois Margot and sired by the legendary Galoubet A. Besides Qlassic Bois Margot she has produced the at Selle Francais approved Kodac du Roc (s.Elliot) and she is the half-sister of the 1.60m-horse Horizon du Roc (s.Tornado D’Hotot). Out of this lineage we see the 1.60m-horses Lavalette Leamax, Oreade Des Dames and Poker des Dames. In 2017 the Qlassic Bois Margot-son Je Suis Equus Tame was approved for KWPN-breeding with 82 points.

The genome breeding index is 101 with a reliability of 34%. The stallion is 15 years of age and has a height of 1.74m. 

 

For both stallions the conformation inspection has taken place. The outcome and its description can be found in the KWPN Database. Both stallions also comply with the KWPN-criteria for X-rays.
