After last year’s success we have once again succeeded in putting together a very interesting collection for the Young Jumping Foal Sale. Fiftheen foals by young, promising jumping stallions out of mares who performed themselves at least 1.30m level or received the Prestatie predicate based on their successful offspring. On Thursday August 15th these talented foals will be auctioned during the finalday of the Blom Cup at the KWPN championships in Ermelo. The collection can be viewed on the auctionwebsite: www.kwpn.auction. 

The collection of this auction is based on dams who have proven themselves in sport or have proven to pass on their talent in sport on their offspring. Those mares combined with young, promising KWPN approved jumping stallions makes this auction collection a special one. With offsprings from top stallions such as KWPN Stallion Show champions Jardonnay VDL and Kannan Jr and KWPN performance test winner Kallmar VDL it is only a matter of time before this collection will live up to expectations.

For example: Olympus, one of the first sons of Kannan Jr, comes out of Cantos mare Cantate who jumped at 1.50m level herself. Filly Olivia FE (Jacquet-Go x Concorde) is the half-sister of Al Capone (s. Lupicor) who is performing at the highest level under the saddle of Jarno van Erp. Onana is a colt by Jubel ES out a Burggraaf dam who has already produced the Grand Prix horse Ayrton IV and his granddam is the mother of approved Grand Prix stallion Tygo and Grand Prix horse Edgar (by Warrant). Four of the foals of this collection will also compete at the National Foal Championship: Oriaantje (filly by Kallmar VDL), Okina (filly by Ibolensky), Onana (colt by Jubel ES) and Orlando (colt by Kensington).

In addition, all pedigrees and damlines of these auction foals can be seen in the KWPN database, even if you are not a KWPN member. Foals are selected at home by our inspectors Henk Dirksen, Arnold Kootstra and Wim Versteeg and re-assessed on the photo and video day.
