With the first round viewing in full flow it won’t be long until the KWPN Stallion Show is around the corner. From Wednesday the 29th of January until the 1st of February the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch are all about KWPN stallions. A fantastic event in which not only the best stallions are presented to the audience, but also where you meet people with passion for the KWPN-horse. The program has had some changes in content, but guarantees four days with the best that the breeding and sports has to offer.

All breeding directions are represented and the visitors are treated to a varied program every day. The first two days, Wednesday the 29th of January and Thursday the 30th of January, the show jumping fanatics can indulge themselves. New this year is that there is no third round viewing and champion anymore. This means that on Wednesday the jumper stallions come in for the second round viewing and at the end of the day the selected stallions are presented. On Thursday the second round viewing continues and after this the presentation of the selected stallions takes place, followed by the presentation of the primed stallions.

Members have priority on tickets sales
Of course the KWPN-members receive a discount again on the tickets in the pre-sale. New this year is that all seats are numbered, which means you are sure of a good seat. There is also a possibility to buy tickets for a standing place. To offer our members even more benefits, they have the possibility to order tickets earlier than non-members, to ensure themselves of the best seats! The ticket sale starts in the beginning of December. Once the ticket sale starts this will be announced on the website. The prices of the different tickets are already known, you can find these here.

Priming jumper stallions on Thursday
By priming the stallions, the most complete stallions will be put in the spotlight and it can therefore be indicated which direction we want to go with breeding. The other components of the show jumping program on Thursday are: presentation of the in 2019 approved stallions, KWPN Select Sale for jumper stallions, the VHO trophy and also the exciting showdown of the Blom Stallion Competition.

Gelder force
On Friday the 31st of January the dressage- and Gelder stallions enter the arena to show themselves in the second round viewing. On this day the primed Gelder stallions will also be presented, followed by a presentation of the finalists of the Stallion Competition for the Gelder stallions. On Friday evening there are several dressage shows and clinics on the program, among which the VHO Trophy and the presentation of the dressage stallions that were approved in 2019.

Stallion competition dressage moved to Saturday
In contrast to previous years, the finals of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition take place on Saturday instead of Friday this year. Also on this day, the dressage stallions are being primed, the KWPN Select Sale takes place for the dressage stallions and the harness horses will enter the arena. The harness horses still have a champion in the stallion selection, and also the Oregon Trophy is on the program again. Just like the presentation of the harness horse stallions whom were approved in 2019. Finally there are also several shows and clinics on Saturday.

Content shows
Hard work is being done on the content of the presentations, shows and clinics to treat the crowd on an amazing program. Leading up to the KWPN Stallion Show the exact program will be published.
