For the first time, the KWPN Stallion Show has no championships round. Instead, a select group of 5 excelling stallions were declared premium. These five stallions and their breeders were honoured on Thursday night.

The presentation of these five premium stallions was a great addition to the programm riddled with sports. Chairman of the committee Cor Loeffen shared the jury's thoughts on each of this stallions before they were honoured together with their breeders. A moment to remember, which was accompanied with 1,000 euro cheque, offered by the 'Friends of the KWPN'. "We were able to award five very complete stallions the premium predicate. They convinced us in their conformation, performance in the first and second round viewing as well as their pedigree. We are happy with entire collection of 41 appointed stallions," said Cor Loeffen. 

The five premium stallions: 
- Mr Cornet VG (Cornet Obolensky out of Ezella ster pref by Indoctro, bred by Jan van Gestel from Hilvarenbeek) of VDL Stud
- Mindset ES (Aganix du Seigneur out of Hosanne ES keur sport-spr by Kannan) of breeder Egbert Schep
- Manden I Sonderbygaard (Heathrow out of Umosa elite pref prest PROK by Cavalier) of breeder Arjan Roosjen and co-owned by Reinie Tewis
- Monsieur VDL (Inaico VDL out of Zoklahoma VDL ster pref prest by Emilion) of breeder VDL Stud
- My Favorite (Impressive VDL out of Heraya elite sport-spr d-oc by Quasimodo van de Molendreef, bred by D. de Jong uit Spannum) of I. de Boer from Wommels
