Thanks to their almost always clear rounds and a solid lead, Alex David Gill and Inaico VDL were the favourites for the win in the Blom Stallion competition Z/ZZ-class. And they pulled it off in front of a appreciative crowd.

Rob Heijligers gave his all with his competitive Illusion CL (Arezzo VDL out of Bumanda keur IBOP-spr by Ukato, bred by W. Uenk) of Cor van der Linden, Egbert Schep and Joop van Uytert. As a result they walked away with the day win in the highest class of the Blom Stallion Competition. Alex David Gill and his careful Inaico VDL (Indoctro out of Beach Quella by Baloubet du Rouet, bred bu J. Aegten) of VDL Stud had some more wiggle room. In Zuidbroek their win granted the lead in the intermediate rankings and the pair firmly holded on to it. The victory was the cherry on top for VDL Stud, after two talented sons of Inaico VDL were appointed to the performance test earlier today.

The German Cascadello Boy RM (Cascadello out of Baloudora by Balou du Rouet, bred by J. Ruyter) of Syndicate Rheinaas also let himself be heard this competition. Ridden by Inga Schuurman his consistence performance resulted in the second place, just ahead for the scopey Ice Breaker E.B. (Action Breaker out of Zsa Zsa elite IBOP-spr PROK by Quite Easy I, bred by H. ter Harmsel) and Vincent Geerink.
