The Grand Prix mare Endy BH became the convincing top-seller of the Black Horses Auction last night and will continue her sports career with a very talented Belgian rider. The online auction of Black Horses Stud can be put into the books with a 100% score, because all 40 auction horses were sold to 11 different countries last night. "It all went outstanding," says Jan Vink afterwards. "The whole team worked great and put in lots of effort. Everyone was enthusiastic."

For a good price of 53,000 euros, the Grand Prix-classified Endy BH - an 11-year-old daughter of De Niro out of the former KWPN Mare Champion Andy - was sold to Belgium. A highly talented young rider takes over the reins of Endy BH and will compete her in the U25. After her sports career, a great career in breeding lies ahead for Endy BH.

Worldwide interest
Buyers from all over the world showed interest in the dressage horses of the Black Horses Auction. For 30,000 euros, the strikingly moving 3-year-old stallion Most Loved Rock BH (Indian Rock x Briar) leaves for Estonia, while the interestingly bred Momance BH - For Romance I out of the half-sister of Olympic champion Desperados FRH - was sold to Lithuania for 19,000 euros. Buyers from India, Canada, Sweden, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and Denmark also successfully purchased a horse in the online auction.

Dutch investors
Dutch investors did great business as well last night. For example, the 6-year-old mare Jazzperendy O (Desperado x Jazz) remains in the Netherlands for 26,000 euros and the Prix St. Georges mare Dendy (Jazz x Ulft) also stays in Dutch ownership for 21,000 euros. The promising 3-year-old mare Mi Rocka BH (Indian Rock x Sir Donnerhall I) stays in the Netherlands for 20,000 euros, as will the 9-year-old sport mare Gina (Lord Leatherdale x Negro).

The interesting broodmares of Stoeterij Black Horses were popular among the bidders as well. All five mares will continue to contribute to Dutch breeding with the 10-year-old Forsytha (Sir Donnerhall I x Ferro) as the top-seller for 12,000 euros.

Possible next edition
The first edition of the Black Horses Auction turned out to be a success. "We are very satisfied with the result and the diverse group of buyers from all over the world," said Jasper van der Waaij, who organized the online auction together with Peter van der Waaij and the Black Horses Stud team. "After this success, we look forward to a possible next edition."
