The former Grand Prix dressage horse Lingh (Flemmingh out of Gazelle ster pref prest s.Columbus, breeders H.S. Dallinga of Yde and R.M. Brinkman of Sint Annaparochie) of Edward Gal has passed away at the age of 27.

After putting himself in the spotlight in the sport, Lingh was approved by the KWPN in 2005, together with Edward Gal, he managed to proved himself to the very highest level. Edward Gal and Lingh have achieved many successes together, winning  at Small Tour level, the National Championship in 2002, a place in the Dutch team at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006 and a second place at the FEI World Cup Final of 2006 in Las Vegas.

The stallion has also done good things for KWPN breeding. Lingh produced several KWPN-bred Grand Prix horses such as Clingh (out of Ugoletta stb s.Little Rock). He competed at Grand Prix level under the American Joseph Sandven last year. Bubblingh (out of Matajo DWB s.Picandt) who was ridden by the British Richard Davison this year at Grand Prix level and Cocksdorp Texel (out of Silithyia Texel stb-ext prest PROK s.Democraat) who competed in 2016 under Lotje Schoots at Prix St. George level.
