Last Monday, the selection for the spring performance test took place. With this, 26 jumper and dressage stallions started their performance test at the KWPN Centre in Ermelo.

Out of the 13 registered three-year-old jumper stallions, the Erco van 't Roosakker son Night Life VDL was absent; all other stallions were both trainable and in good health. "The entire stallion inspection committee was present on Monday and found all the stallions to be well trainable," says Henk Dirksen. "They were presented by their own rider and made a number of jumps in trot and canter. After that they were examined by a veterinarian and found to be in good condition. Besides this delivery for the performance test, there was also a presentation under saddle for four-year-old stallions. Of the six registered stallions, the Cornet Obolensky-son Mendoza VDL was absent, the other five stallions may return on the 26th for the second presentation under saddle. "In two weeks they can then enter the 21-day examination. Yesterday Heart Touch son Hilburry Z was also selected for that, on condition that he meets the veterinary requirements. This four-year-old stallion took part in the resit today and has been assigned."

Dressage stallions
Of the 15 registered three-year-old dressage stallions, Just Wimphof son Nintendo DS and Trafalgar son Nikkei Royal were absent. The five-year-old Louis ter Kwincke (by Easy Game) was also not presented today. In agreement with the owner, the three year old Finest-son is reffered to the resit in the autumn. "This means that 12 stallions started the performance test through the regular programme, with Governor son No Way and Negro son Nacho participating on a voluntary test," explains Floor Dröge. "In general, the stallions were nice to ride and were presented well by their rider. This also applies to the older stallions that we saw in the presentation under saddle. These stallions are all expected back on April 26th, as is the five-year-old Debbehoeve's Linvasion who participated voluntarily." Furthermore, two stallions have participated in a resit. Both stallions have not been assigned.

Due to the corona measures, this presentation is not open to the public. The final presentation on May 14th will be broadcasted through a livestream.

More information about the participating stallions can be found in the media guide.
