Evaluation Gelder stallions in the outdoor area
Yesterday the evaluation of the three Gelder stallions Newman, McKenzy JHL and Matiz took place. All three stallions can continue their performance test.
"The complete stallion selection committee has evaluated the three-year-old Newman (Elton out of Beaujamanda ster by Upperville, breeder H.G. Hekkert from Wijhe), the four-year-old McKenzy JHL (Alexandro P out of Happines elite IBOP PROK by WV Saron, breeder L. Roerdink from Groenlo) and Matiz (Eebert from out of Honey ster PROK by Vitens, breeder G.H. Hofs from Varsseveld). The weather was beautiful and Newman and McKenzy JHL were presented under saddle at the outdoor area. Matiz was judged in-harness at the outdoor area. The stallions were well trainable and passed the various obstacles like for example the water pond in the right way. “says Wim Versteeg.
" At the end the stallion selection committee has spoken with the owners about the progress of the stallions. All three stallions can continue their performance test. The next assessment will take place next week in the Willem-Alexanderhal. The stallions develop very well during the performance test," said Wim Versteeg.
The end of the performance test on May 14th will be broadcasted via the livestream. More information about the participating stallions can be found in the media guide.
