OG Tokyo: Houtzager and Sterrehof’s Dante clear!
After Willem Greve made a costly mistake, Marc Houtzager did succeed in keeping a clean slate with Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. (s.Canturano) and thereby secured a place in the individual final.
At the moment, 23 combinations have zero penalties, with 10 combinations left. The best 30 qualify for the final and as it seems, only clear combinations have a chance thereof.
For now, this includes Marc Houtzager. He had his hands full at the start! Just in time he got his Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. sport-spr (Canturano out of Zidante ster IBOP-spr sport-dr D-OC by Phin Phin, bred by J.W.J. Soeter in Stokkum) back in line to then perform a clear round. The mare jumped with lots of eagerness and scope, that combined with the experience and calmness of Marc Houtzager resulted in a well-deseved zero penalties. The time 88.02 was just a second within the time allowed.
Willem Greve performed a great round with Zypria S N.O.P. (s.Canturo), four penalties. This appears to exclude them for the individual final.
